The staff were amazing, very helpful and catering to your needs. The pool is great with a great relaxing view. There is a smart TV with access to wifi which is great for those times you want to stay in the room and relax. There is a resort with different restaurants and a spa within a 2 minute walk if wanted/ needed. The owner suggested an amazing massage lady to came to the room, we continued to use her throughout our stay.

The cleanliness, the bathroom has no window so there is no ventilation with black mould at the bottom of the shower. The fridge wasn't cleaned and had fluffy black mould on the seal as do the curtains in the room. I dropped something and went to get it from under the bed and yeh its not great under there. The staff do come to clean daily but its just a general change the sheets, stock up and mop only the walk way. There was two pairs of 'hotel' slippers left for us to use, which had been used before and were dirty. I also have an irriational fear of lizards, there was at least 4 geckos in the room hiding behind the slates in the ceiling, we advised the staff and they tried to rid them however the ceiling is so high and slated its impossible to get them, they just hide and walk around at night/ make their chirping sounds so I pretty much didn't sleep, we completely understand we are surrounded nature and in no way blame the staff but if you have a fear of geckos maybe something to think about.

Spacious with good facilities - Netflix in the TV for all rooms, pool with outdoor showering and separate showering facilities from the room, keeping the wet and dry area clean. This will be a perfect stay for friends who are crashing over at Bali. Service and hosts were fantastic - very friendly, very helpful. My kids were sick and puking and they suggested local remedies (sugar water) and were willing to assist with our requests of change of bedsheets and blankets. The kitchen is available for use with full facilities and they asked us to feel free to use their condiments to cook. Great housekeeping. There’s a housekeeper who is able to assist us, keeping the area clean and tidy.

Are all villas and hotels in Ubud full of ants and bugs? It wasn’t the case when I stayed in Seminyak. But there’s really a lot of ants, flies and bugs in this Ubud villa even though the door and windows were closed most of the time. The sugar they offered to us as part of the condiments in the kitchen also had ants there. For a city dweller like me, the cleanliness is an issue not because it is not clean, but because of the bugs that are all around. Security might be a concern for people who are fussy. Hosts and gardener were going in and out of the villa on the first day as they seem to be redoing the garden. The housekeeper also has free access to the villa. But they do have keys for you to lock your own room if you want. But for those fussy about privacy and security, might not be for you.

Very comfortable property and ideally located between UBUD city and other key locations. The host Mardika and his wife were really helpful, ensuring our needs were taken care of. If you are looking for a comfortable, peaceful and spacious stay ...this is it.
