World class views, and staff all very pleasant. Room very spacious and well decorated and maintained, if on the edge of becoming a little tired

3 star hotel in a 5 star location. Large hotel that was missing the attention to detail, food quality and service to warrant the price tag. Sadly the most disappointing of many amazing hotel stays across Malaysia and Thailand. Food in all restaurants and of all cuisines deeply average and at Singapore/western prices, we had to return inedible room service food. Buggy service (needed as its a very large resort and I stupidly broke my toe, my fault!) was very very slow, Room wasn't cleaned after a few asks. Paying additional for the mandatory boat transfer (no road access to the resort) whilst not expensive just felt ridiculous given the room rate, and that we havent had to do the same for other similar but lower priced hotels eg Rebak or Nikoi
