The Majestic Hotel

There was trash behind the dresser, there was blood on the pillow, the refrigerator did not work, three of the lights in the elevator were out.

The rooms were amazing and very clean. The staff were so wonderful and accommodating. Parking is around the block but easy enough. The decor was awesome. We loved the woman who checked us in. Super friendly and sweet. We cant wait to come back!

Great little hotel in a sweet neighborhood. Not in the middle of all the action, but there are neighborhood shops and restaurants closeny. The lake too is right there Super friendly and helpful staff.

The staff at the front desk did not communicate that the parking fee would be removed from the $100 credit card hold for incidentals. The garage has a sign that said cash only. I paid the garage directly $60 in cash. I contacted the hotel about the $50 not returned to my card. I was told a manager would call me back. It's been 5 days with no call and no refund of the $50.

Great, quiet location with cute neighborhood. Walkable, safe with lots of restaurants and shops within 10-15 min walk. Walkable to Wrigley stadium too. Staff was friendly. Hotel is small, older, and lacks amenities of larger hotels. Overpriced for what I paid…should be a three-star at best.

Great decor and atmosphere. Staff was helpful and accommodating. The hotel is walkable distance to many amenities (little less than half-a-mile’s easy walk to Wrigleyville). The rooms were small (at least mine was) but clean and nice. There weren’t many “extras” (for ex: no pool, no restaurant, [though you can order food to your room]) and the parking garage is half-a-block away, so if you’re planning on spending a lot of time at the hotel, I might not recommend it. But if you’re looking for a place to stay while you explore Chicago, go to an event, see a game, etc, this is a very good option.
