my wife and I visit the greater Monterey area a couple times a year as I served at Ft. Ord back in the 80's. We booked a 'suite' across the street from the main property (away from the graveyard... not a typo) and the room was exactly as advertised. We really liked that side, as there were three firepits where we were able to take pizza, wine and some munchies while relaxing in comfortable chairs. our room was nice. we had a separate bedroom, living room and kitchen area. it did not have a kitchen though, other than a small microwave and a very small fridge. Be prepared to bring a cooler if you want to keep more than a few things cold - there is an ice machine available on the property. being on that side came with a continental breakfast. if your room doesn't come with the breakfast, I believe it's $15/each. we walked through the breakfast line the first morning of our 6 day stay, and didn't return after that. we will stay here again, and we'll be better prepared next time. want to shout out CJ who was exceptionally nice and helpful - thank you!

Extended our stay in Pacific Grove on a whim and found the Lighthouse Lodge at the last minute. Very accommodating staff, clean and comfortable room. Quiet location and close enough to the bay for a moon lit walk to the sea. Will definitely come again.

Put in the room next to street , small , cars loud, expensive for veey basic room small bed blinds did not close tv did not turn on shower was broken and reversed

The room was neat and clean and the fireplace was a nice touch as the evenings were chilly. The only disappointment was that they advertise free breakfast but really it’s a grab and go brown bag with a granola bar, juice, and packaged muffin. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Place NEEDS work... has the old hotel smell. Not well maintained. Staff was actually rude

We stayed in the Junior Cottage for less than $200/night. It was super cute, cozy and I wish we could have stayed longer. The reviews on Expedia and Google made us question committing to this place, so we viewed the cottage before we booked it. It was just fine, as advertised. The bathroom is a little dated and not great lighting but it was clean and functioned well. The fireplace was cute but it was too warm for us to use. No AC because that’s not a thing in Cali!! Great walk to the beach, less than 5 min walk.

I loved the gas fireplace andnthat it was upstairs. Location was fantastic.
