Hotel Villa Diodoro

Hotel has charm and wonderful views from opulent breakfast room and pool area. Room was spacious with good facilities and A/C worked well . Balcony wasn’t private as was separated from those next door by see through wrought iron divisions. Balcony didn’t have light so was dark sitting out at night. Pool area beautiful, well kept with free towels. However, would have benefitted from a lift. Food at pool bar disappointing and over priced; a caprese salad didn’t have a single piece of basil or anything green, only tomatoes and mozerella for €10. Overall , a nice hotel in a good location. It’s quiet and perhaps could provide some night time entertainment. That said, we enjoyed the two night visit.

This hotel was a nice walk to restaurants, the Greek Theatre and the cable car. Easy to arrange transportation to the beach. The pool was beautiful and the view was stunning and you can see Etna from here. The hotel grounds are very well kept. Breakfast what a nice variety. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great location with amazing views, clean room, comfortable bed. The only downside is the bathroom would need a bit of updating. Overall it is great!!!

We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the view and the beautiful grounds. The garden next door was lovely and the staff attentive. I enjoy staying in Historic hotels and so this was a property I enjoyed. I would for sure stay here again.

beautiful old grand hotel with amazing views of Mt Etna and the Taormina coastline. Yes it's old and somewhat dated but it's easy to look past. Easy walk into town

Very nice but parking is a nightmare. Rooks are clean and have everything you need. Breakfast could be better.

There should be options other than buying water for customers
