The room was so cute and spacious. The bed was comfy. I loved the deck and the view. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Everything. Location, staff, room, vibe. All perfect. We wish we’d booked several nights instead of just a single night stopover.

Your breakfast was great! Your coffee really good and loved how you had different creamers. Your muffins were a fantastic! The whole property was beautiful and the rooms comfortable, clean and beautiful. Definitely want to come back as soon as we can.

Two things. You need to have some kind of shelves or something in the bathrooms, where a person can put their toiletries and more hooks as well to hang things. Although I really like the lights outside the buildings at night, it was like daytime almost in our room at night, which I have a hard time with. I would just suggest having thicker blackout curtains to be closed at night, so that people like me don’t have a hard time sleeping. Other than that, keep doing what you’re doing. It was a wonderful stay and hope to come back soon someday.

Each room has a view of the ocean. Location is a short drive from Mendocino. This lodge has the best CP value in Mendocino coast.

Beautiful location with view of the ocean and quiet area. Good size room. I love that they don’t use air fresheners in the room!! I am allergic to strong chemical fragrances and so many hotels seem to love dousing their rooms with fragrance now a days. The deck to our room was perfect for our dog to hang out and watch the deer graze on the lawn. Decent selection for continental breakfast. The coffee was delicious! Nice and strong! Receptionist was very friendly.

The furniture was a bit run down and there was an awful, nauseating, musty/moldy smell to the room. Covering it with air freshener would have made it worse, so I’m glad they didn’t. The smell was mostly coming from an old dresser in between the beds. It’s like they dug it out of some 40 yr old attic supplies and used it for decoration. We literally moved the dresser outside to the deck and kept the sliding door open and that helped tremendously, but the smell still lingered during our stay. Another big downer is the AC/heater points crazily, DIRECTLY at the bed! We stacked up all the extra pillows to make a “wall” to help redirect the air flow. The person in the bed by the unit was hot all night and the person on the other side of the room was cold. The hand towel holder could be moved up so the towel isn’t sitting on the table in the bathroom. The room was also very dark at night. It could use another lamp. During the day with curtains open, it was fine.

Location, cleanliness. Right by a really nice path around Table Rock and the beach area.

Promised view was not much and not worth paying any extra..
