Das homestay ist abseits der Straße und daher sehr ruhig. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen. Der Eingangsbereich ist nett hergerichtet. Wir durften kostenlos unsere Wäsche waschen. Das Bett war sauber bezogen und in Ordnung.

Leider entsprach die Unterkunft nicht meinen Erwartungen, die die Fotos in der Beschreibung geweckt hatten. Das Zimmer ist so groß wie das Bett mit ca 50cm Platz auf der Seite. Mit zwei Backpacks eher schwierig. Das Fenster geht auf den Flur (nicht nach draußen). Das Bad, das zu unseren Zimmer gehörte, war sehr sporadisch eingerichtet - ohne Waschbecken. Am interessantesten waren die zwei Duschköpfe (einer heißes Wasser und einer kaltes). Die Handtücher hatten schwarze Schimmelpunkte, sowie auch die Wände. Alles roch ein bisschen modrig. Ohne Klimaanlage kaum auszuhalten. Das Frühstück war ein Toast Sandwich (ok).

Habitaciones pequeñas, sucias, sin ventana, con mucho olor a humedad, pero lo peor era escuchar como las ratas se movían en el techo de un lado a otro. El baño compartido muy sucio y viejo.

We became part of the family and the owners were wonderful and very helpful. Breakfast (authentic Indonesian/Javanese) was something to look forward to every morning. The location (tucked behind in a hidden alley) near the Kraton was awesome.

Like almost all places in Yogya, the place overall was clean, but bathrooms and toilet needed a bit of a scrub.

The owners are really nice and helpful (they helped us organize a couple of excursions and also get our train tickets to Malang); we could also extend our stay for one night without a problem! Homemade breakfast is incredibly good. Location is top, close to main attractions in Jogja (walking distance) but still in a quiet alley.

We were not lucky with our room: it was quite small and humid, and the bathroom (part of the room) had no sink.
