Pension Scheffler

Best to way to have a cheap accomodation near Berlin. I was there with all my family, in Berlin it was 4 times more expensive, with this solution I saved a lot of money, travelling 30 minutes with train from Babelsberg station. The apartmente is great, clean and really cute

This is a family-run pension with a lot of charm, situated in a lovely neighborhood close to the park Babelsberg, disposing of an inner yard in which guests can enjoy sitting outside. The pension owners also put nice bikes to disposal of their guests and riding a bike in the lovely city of Potsdam made my holidays especially enjoyable. I liked my apartment, it has a big bathroom, a nice kitchenette (small, but very well equipped!) and a big main room. I appreciated having reading lamps at the bedsides. The best of all is that it was perfectly quiet!

The windows could be a bit more clean, but this is a minor remark. I would also enjoy having some paper towel in the kitchen and garbage begs that actually fit the bin! ;)

Lots of facilities like a privat kitchen with fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. In the heart of babelsberg, a lovely community in Potsdam.

The location is great in a beautiful neighborhood, the apartament is big and has a complete kitchen. The hosts are very nice! We used their bikes in a lovely sunny day and it was a very pleasant experience.

WiFi connection in my apartment was very unstable.

The host was very friendly and she told us her stories about Georgia. The pension was easy to reach. We would like to come and and stay longer in Summer. Kitchen was very useful for our needs. Thanks

The beds weren not enough comfortable for us because we have backache.

location excellent 100 metres walk to a 100 hectare castle park with lakes and gardens.close to shops and restaurents .

Nice place and friendly owner

Really nice welcome by the host of the Pension who had no problem with waiting for payment of the room as I didn´t have enough cash with me until I withdrew something from a close bank. The dog in the Pension was well behaved which didn´t make me feel scared at all. The room was really comfortable and well equipped with large bathroom and kitchen area. Location wise relatively close to the center of Potsdam within 40 minutes walk

Wifi was unfortunately not the most stable one, but otherwise nothing to complain at all
