Hago Guest House

I stayed for 4 nights and 5 days, feeling as comfortable and pleasant as if I were at home. The neat and delicious breakfast was wonderful.

De ruime kamers in de villa en de zeer vriendelijke ontvangst van de eigenaresse. De futon bedden liggen prima en de vloer heeft verwarming. De buurt is rustig waardoor we met de ramen open hebben kunnen slapen. Het uitstekende ontbijt wat door haar man wordt gemaakt. Ze heeft ons goede tips gegeven waar te eten en wat er in de omgeving allemaal te beleven is. Een hartelijk afscheid na twee dagen met de belofte om nog een keer terug te komen.

Nice autentic place in a quiet neighbourhoud. Very friendly host. Parking with rental car was easy on the street next to the guesthouse.

La guest house est très bien située. La maison est jolie et les chambres lumineuses. Il y a une petite terrasse devant la maison avec une table et des chaises. C'est agréable. Je recommande toutefois de prendre les chambres indépendantes de la maison principales.

La salle d'eau est accessible via la chambre aux lits superposés, ce qui n'est pas très pratique. Les lits sont un peu durs. Dans l'une des chambres c'est des matelas au sol, nous les avons lié en deux pour que ce soit plus confortable. L'espace commun de ces deux chambres est la cuisine-salle à manger de nos hôtes. Même s'ils sont très gentils, on avait toujours un peu l'impression de déranger. Par exemple, il y avait une cafetière nespresso, mais pas de capsule, donc on ne pouvait pas se faire de café. On se faisait de la tisane, mais avec nos sachets.

It is set up like a B&B and we stayed with the hostess and host in the main house. They have other accommodations in a separate building. We had full use of 2 large and beautifully decorated bedrooms and a toilet/bathroom. The hostess is an artist and the host a poet, and there are many of their creations displayed around the property. They are a lovely couple and were helpful and generous. The breakfast every morning was delicious and healthy. We were there around the Seoulla (Lunar New Year) holidays and had the opportunity to relax and chat about our plans before we headed off for the day. It’s something we looked forward everyday. The location is also fantastic. There are interesting and great restaurants nearby and it’s only a short walk through the undersea tunnel (must visit!) to the mainland. We will definitely return! 💕
