Mangata Villas Adults Only

The great experience started before my trip began. Jennifer was wonderful in helping me plan excursions and spa treatments making it an easy and worry free planning experience. They met me at the airport on the island and assisted in getting my golf cart and getting me smoothly back to the villa. I enjoyed my entire stay from start to finish and have no negatives to say about the accommodations or property. The Moon Bar staff are absolutely outstanding. I would recommend Mangata Villas to all my friends and family and would definitely go back for another stay!

We stayed here for 3 days at Moon Villa. All the furniture looks new, it smells nice inside, everything as described on the description + there some perks and 10% discounts with local shop/diving center which owners will list to you. The owners are sweet people. Thai Lobster Pizza is a must try food at the bar there, super unique and cool and Ice Mohito cocktail 🫶. Stuff is super friendly, and provides great service. They clean territory every morning so the beach looks great, especially comparing to other places in San Pedro. You will not regret a single day spent there!

My husband and I spent a week at this lovely place. The facilities and staff were amazing. We loved how peaceful it was and wouldn’t stay anywhere else. It’s a little far from town but it’s exactly what we wanted. The Moon Bar onsite is the loveliest bar on the island which also has the best pizza, great drinks and bartenders. I highly recommend!

1. Great sea view from panoramic windows 2. All furniture looks great and new 3. The apartment is super clean and smells nice 4. 2 TVs in apartment- 1 in living room and one in bedroom, super convenient. 5. The bar has great Thai Lobster pizza - love it, it is award winning food in 2024 on the island, definitely recommend to try. 6. They burn anti mosquito all over bar perimeters you stay comfortable in the evening enjoining sea breeze and views 7. The staff are great guys who always look out for you and do not let your glass to be empty 🥰 8. The beach is cleaned every morning from seaweeds so it is ready for your nice pictures (not all properties do it that often) 9. Highly recommend this place and I will come again ❤️

Mangata Villas and Moon Bar were an amazing stay for us. Though it’s outside of the town of San Pedro, we never had a problem driving to and from as we pleased. The staff (Rody and Roly) were always super friendly. The villa itself was comfortable and clean. They even helped us facilitate a golf cart rental and met us at the ferry port to guide us to the resort. There are other resorts walkable on the beach or even a short drive for breakfast/lunch/dinner if you don’t feel like driving into town. If you’d love a great and quiet place to relax, Mangata is the place for you!

I was a little confused if I was going to a hotel or an Airbnb. It’s actually the best of both. Like an Airbnb, we had a great one bedroom apartment facing the beach, with full kitchen. And I do mean beach, as unlike the most of San Pedro, there is a small sandy beach here. We also had the things usually missing from an Airbnb: Activities. There are paddleboards and kayaks for free right on the beach. The Moon Bar has beach and bar games like Cornhole. The dive shop is a few minutes up the beach. Bar: The Moon Bar is one of my favorite bars ever. Right on the beach, friendliest staff ever, and a great mix of visitors and expats. It’s right out of a Kenny Chesney or Jimmy Buffet song. And don’t worry, it closes around 9 so it does not create noise when you want to sleep. Concierge/Advice: The owners are on site and super helpful. Restaurant. In addition to Moon Bar pizza, there is a hotel with a full service restaurant a few minutes down the beach.

Jenn and Justin are incredible hosts. If you need anything...they will make sure you get it. A great experience all the way around. Rody and Roly are the stars of the show though. Great, friendly bartenders! Can't recommend this place enough. Just do it.

Intimate setting on the beach. Clean, well kept, staff treat you like vip when you are staying here. No complaints. They reserved a golf cart for us at our request and met us at the airport. The bar/restaurant on the beach serves unique pizzas and good drinks. Not overpriced. I am not a big pizza eater but this was above expectations and do not leave without trying the dessert pizza. Overall great stay here.

We had a great stay at Mangata Villas! The hosts were great at communicating and even organised a golf cart for us to pick up off the ferry. The pool and beach were fab and it was great we could cook our own meals in the kitchenette a few nights too!

Property was lovely and clean. Accommodations are very nice. (Cabins) Pizzas are delicious Their hired staff were all super nice and friendly!

Lack of alcohol in their drinks!! Never in the Caribbean have I experienced as weak of pour! Complimentary drink was less than an ounce. Needless to say we went other places to enjoy our beverages. Was not the way we wanted to start our stay there. Too bad. Justin was cool.
