I booked and paid for a room on Expedia for 2 nights. When I arrived at the Tower Inn I was told I didn't have a reservation and they were full. My online banking didn't show a charge on my credit card so I thought I maybe didn't complete the booking, however I see that I was charged for a room that I was told I didn't have reserved yet they still took my money.

"Don't expect a 3 star stay..."

Cheap rate and good location for couple night stay near restaurants, pubs and work I was in town for. The condition of the room/hotel was to be expected with worn carpet, leaky plumbing, musty odor in hallways among others. The check in was not a good experience, no one at the front desk with a phone number to call and when someone did come they could not communicate with me and needed to use his phone to translate English which was not fair to him being in that position. Also the communication from Hotels.com changing my reservation dates was missed but did get sorted out after. Indifferent stay...

Was ok had a window heat A/C furnace that cleaners turned off during the day so when I would get back to my room it was cold for a couple hrs And hard to regulate heat at night Older place but clean
