There is absolutely nothing to not like. The hosts have thought of everything.

Breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed the extra touches with Gozo foods each day. Location was brilliant.

Everything was great but if I was being extra critical I’d suggest a blackout curtain and a mini fridge for the room.

Perfect rustic style guest house to stay at to see all of Gozo. Isabelle and Patrice were lovely hosts and gave us some great recommendations. Breakfast was excellent with different pastries each morning. The room was nice and spacious with great views of the citadel.

Attentive hosts, but not overly so. Beautiful central location. Room was stunning. Perfect breakfast boiled eggs. You can hire snorkels.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Provicario, right in the heart of Victoria. The highlight was the stunning rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the town and the Citadella. It was the perfect place to enjoy breakfast in the morning and a relaxing drink at sunset. Our room on the second floor was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely private terrace. The hotel also offers a convenient bar fridge on the main level, which is great if you need water or a beverage after local shops have closed. Since the property is located in the town square, it is surrounded by historic churches. The bells ring throughout the day and night, and you may also hear birds in the early hours, which seemed to be a source of frustration for other reviewers. Light sleepers might want to bring earplugs or an eye mask. These were not issues for us, and they are easy to manage. They should not take away from the charm of staying in such a lovely spot. There is also no elevator/lift but this is made clear in the reviews already mentioned. Breakfast is provided daily without a menu, so it helps to share any dietary needs or preferences in advance. The food is fresh and often comes from local bakeries and shops. Patrice, the host, is friendly and welcoming. He is a pleasure to talk to at breakfast and is full of helpful suggestions for exploring the area. Provicario is a special place and a great base for discovering Gozo.

My wife and I spent three wonderful days at Provicario, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, Patrice and his wife Isabelle were incredibly friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome, offering excellent recommendations for things to see and do around the island. The location was perfect—quiet, scenic, and well-situated for exploring Gozo. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed, with a modern and comfortable bathroom to match. One of our favorite spots was the roof terrace, which provided a lovely place to relax and enjoy the views after a day of exploring. Each morning, we looked forward to the varied and delicious breakfast, which was a perfect start to the day. We highly recommend Provicario to anyone visiting Gozo—it’s a place where attention to detail and genuine hospitality come together to create a truly memorable stay.

Perfect location. Beautiful place with lovely furnishings. Views of the Citadel which were lovely when lit at night. Continental breakfast included and served on the terrace. A wonderful place to relax after a hard day sightseeing. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and had paid attention to every detail to make the place perfect.

Absolutely perfect location, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Very friendly hosts, fabulous breakfast. The view from the rooftop terrace...just WOW. Book this place if you're lucky enough to get a vacancy. We loved it!!

Could maybe do with a curtain covering the bathroom window 🧐

Amazing continental breakfast with a different fresh pastry every morning, great location in the centre of Victoria and only 5 minutes walk from the bus station (you can get to everywhere you need to from here). The rooms were stunning and the beds were also really comfy. Would love to visit again.
