Hotel Laxmi Empire

Great rooms on the 2nd floor. Note however that rooms on 3rd & 4th floor were decent but not as good as on the 2nd floor. The hotel manager was extremely friendly & helpful.

Breakfast spread could have been better. The restaurant on the 1st floor was a mixed bag.

The location of the hotel is adjacent to madgaon railway station. Good for travellers who need to take the train.

Rooms do not have any windows or balconies. Feels very claustrophobic. Room size could have been bigger.

Absolutely nothing.

We paid upwards of 4.5K for our deluxe room. The room wasn't clean. The bathroom is too small for you to move around. The bathroom curtains were stained and unclean. The bathroom mirror was stained. Hell even the intercom receiver was oily and stinky. There was no soap in the dispenser. The tea cups were stained. The bedsheets and pillows were stained. The towels were old and stained. The windows were stained. The view outside was pathetic. Please see the pictures attached. The breakfast buffet had very limited options. The staff was extremely rude- when we asked for an extra tea cup since we were 3 people, he said we only give 2 cups. When the staff came to fix the extra bed he lingered in the room for 10-15 mins watching the TV which made us feel really uncomfortable. Room service was worst. We ordered water bottle which took 40 mins and multiple reminders. How did this property get a 4 star rating is baffling. Their 4 star rating should be reviewed. DON'T BOOK THIS PROPERTY. You'll find much better options for much cheaper price.

Staff was rude

Good Food, well behaved staff , clean and big room.

It's far from most of the tourist places, so for leisure tourist It's a good option but if u want to explore most of the important tourist destination then u have to be prepare to spare little more time in travel.
