Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hyatt Dharamshala! The property is stunning — surrounded by lush greenery, peaceful trails, and that unmistakable mountain calm. It’s the perfect setting to unwind and reconnect with nature. Our 6-year-old had the best time at the kids’ camp, which kept him happily occupied throughout our trip. It truly made the stay relaxing for us as parents. My husband especially enjoyed the guided nature walks, which were both refreshing and informative — a lovely way to experience the area’s natural beauty. I also tried the spa, and while it doesn’t have a traditional reception or seating area, the masseuse was absolutely fantastic — one of the best massages I’ve had. A special shoutout to Sunil at Thym, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of during every meal. His warmth and attentiveness really stood out and added a personal touch to our stay. Overall, Hyatt Dharamshala is a gem — serene, family-friendly, and full of thoughtful experiences. Food was good. Chef anil took good care of our Dietary requirements. But the welcome and hospitality could improve to meet Hyatts reputation.

I come here for a swim regularly and for meals as well. Top notchservice by Deepak at the restaurant, very hospitable and attentive to the kind of food I like. Will be back again and again

The staff were lovely, the hotel itself was quite old and rundown, clean, but I do feel like the Hyatt could renovate this hotel. And should.

There’s nothing I didn’t like, I just do feel like the rooms need to be renovated & the hotel needs to be renovated.

Stay at Hyatt if you want to enjoy warm hospitality and good food with awesome weather and surroundings. Multiple activities like Yoga, Nature Walk, Kids Camp, Indoor Pool, Home Cinema available to keep the entire family engaged. Most of the staff members were much more hospitable than expected. *Don’t opt for this property if you like to explore the local place since the property is far from Dharamshala and McleodGanj. We prefer to spend most of our time in the property and hence it was ideal for us.

Magical location and magnificent hotel. Great teams in all services, with real attention to details or needs. Will come back - you should also book there !
