"Excellent hotel!"

10.0

We were 2 weeks in the US, and Primland was our best stay. The Hotel is luxurious, and at a great location. The whole concept was fantastic! Big room with modern facilties, excellent restaurant The Elements (special mention and thanks to waiter Stenson), great spa with steam and suana, easy access to hikijng trials. If you're in the vicinity, stay there, I highly recommend it.

"Remote but unique property with great amenities"

10.0

We had booked a regular hotel room, but were put in one of the cottages, Woodpecker West, which adjoins the 10th fairway. The accommodations were outstanding, consisting of a townhouse-style unit, with a full kitchen, porch, loft bedroom and bathroom with scenic mountain views. The unit came with a golf cart to shuttle to the hotel for dining, spa, fitness, etc. We ate in the main dining room, Elements, the first night. Food was excellent: European-style portions and well-prepared. I had pre-ordered birthday cake for my wife, but there was a mix-up in communication. When I told the server, they prepared an entire cake at no charge, and provided glasses of port while we waited. The following day, we used the fitness facilities (small, but nicely equipped) and the infinity-edge pool (with adjacent hottub). That night, we attended the manager's reception in the Great Hall, at which fine complimentary wines were served. The only disappointment of our stay was dinner at Stables Saloon, which is two miles from the main hotel. This restaurant, built above the old stables on the property, is a large open room, with minimal decoration. Far from a "saloon" atmosphere, it looks and feels more like a summer camp dining room, yet the prices were practically the same as Elements. The menu was very limited, and featured nothing unique or very interesting. Our meals were only fair and the sole server was stretched to handle all of the patrons dining there.

"If price is not object. go for it.;"

6.0

Beautiful hotel. Gorgeous grounds, outstanding staff, totally overpriced food and drink which runined the entire experience. Also, not enough activities unless you are a golfer.

Everything was excellent except their premier restaurant, which I would rate as high average.
