There was no hot water on the morning of my check out and the staff didn't think to let me know despite me saying good morning and heading out wearning running gear. Stood trying to get hot water for ages and then had to just have a cold shower. When I told reception on check out they said 'Yeah someones coming to look at it later', no apology or recognition that this may have been inconvenient. The fire alarm was also set off muliple times between 1 and 2 am on one of the nights and it sounded like people were running about after a night of drinks. So nighttime management wasn't great either.

USThe location is great, staff is very accommodating and the rooms and common areas are clean. They have an area off the lobby where you can bring your own food, no cooking facilities but they have plates, glasses and utensils.
The toilet doesn’t have a cover. Given the limited shelf space in the bathroom, I was worried about my toiletries falling into the toilet. Also, no place to put a dry towel within reach of the shower, cover on the toilet could have served this purpose.
I had a lovely stay at Base Dingle. The room was very clean, the staff were super friendly and the modern amenities like UBC outlets beside the bed were appreciated. I was very happy with the value for price. The welcome card was a wonderful touch and I ended up going to the near by sauna because of it. An amazing way to end a day exploring Slea Head Drive. Would stay again!
