The staff is very professional. We booked one flat a bit further from the centre, but had a problem with the heating boiler there. So on my request they gave us another, better and closer to the centre appartment free of charge. It took me few phone calls for me to persuade them that we can't stay in the one with the broken boiler, but the staff sorted it out and everyone is very polite.

we had bad luck with no warm water and a bathtub that drained. They solved the problem by placing us in a new apartment, we had to ask for it.

Location is great just a few blocks off from many attractions. Closest hop on hop off bus stop is three blocks. The host manages many properties and is really on her game, she has a crew of employees. If anything the communication was almost too good. Lol. I had a cavalier attitude (figured if it didn’t pan out would just book a hotel) but they kept messaging checking in before, during, and even got a message after I checked out. Within the building I didn’t hear a peep from the hall or from other apartments, almost wondered if I was the only one in the building, there is some street noise which quiets at night. There’s very low pedestrian traffic it’s car traffic type noise.

Dunno if anybody would care that the tub isn’t full sized. But be forewarned it’s a midget tub.

We had an amazing stay in Porto in Fontainhas Design Apartment. The apartment is nicely decorated, it has everything you would need for your stay including a washing machine, drying rack, dishwasher, and spices (salt, pepper, oil) in the kitchen. That was a big plus because it made the kitchen actually usable for the short stay! We absolutely loved the heated floor in the bathroom, game changer! The location was perfect, just a 15-minute walk to the city centre, and we didn't need to use transportation at all during our stay!

Wish there was a big light in the room/living room area - three lamps created a very romantic atmosphere for nighttime, but as the days are short, I wish there was a stronger light for the afternoon.

Outside space. We don’t hear the neighbours.

Poor lighting in the washroom. Perhaps a new light. Inconsistency of the water temperature while showering. TV was not working.
