"Lovely hostel "

We were one the first to stay here as the hostel was newly opened when we got here. as you would expect it was very clean and tidy and the staff were very nice. It was great having a shared kitchen to make meals. The only bad thing was there was no tea or coffee like in other we base hostels we stayed in however this might have changed as it was newly opened at this point

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Also has a nice common area with maps showing local restaurants. It was new year so they also had free sake for guests. The bed was very big and comfortable but thos did mean there wasn't really any other space in the room for bags etc. Fine for a night or two, but may get irritating after a while. Location is great. 5 mins walk to the river and main shopping area.

This place was perfect. They were able to take our bags earlier and keep them after check out without an extra fee. The building is incredibly new and therefore very clean. The communal space was very cozy and our room was as well. This was also the best location for shopping and visiting the peace memorial park. Thank you.

Excellent place, brand new, super clean. But the check in was problematic taking AN HOUR as they couldn't find the reservation number. They were offering to cancel and re-book, but making it more expensive which sounded fishy. Had to call hotels.com (in Japanese because they didn't have English service) who spoke with them about the reservation, that's when the booking finally appeared.
