The apartment is located in a calm street and the supermarket 5 minutes away on foot. The host was very helpful and forthcoming regarding everything. The closest beach is just a 5 minute drive from the apartment. Access to a big pool just across the street.

Some more cutlery and small plates would be nice. Our stay was during the spring when it’s a bit cooler, so we would have appreciated a portable radiator in the bath room and the bedrooms for some more comfort.

Our family of four recently spent eight days in Budoni, Sardinia, and while there were some enjoyable aspects of our stay, there were also several areas that left much to be desired. Positive Aspects: Location: The location was excellent, with easy access to some breathtaking coastal spots. It made exploring the area very convenient. Pool Area: The pool area was a highlight of our stay. With plenty of shady spots and loungers, we spent nearly every day there, and our kids absolutely loved it. View: The view from the main bedroom was stunning, offering a beautiful panorama of the mountains. Patio: The elevated patio allowed us to catch a refreshing breeze, which was much appreciated given the heat. Amenities: The accommodation was equipped with cleaning materials, sufficient hangers in the cupboards, and hooks in the bathrooms for towels, all of which added to our comfort. Parking: We usually found parking available right in front of our unit, which was convenient. Barbecue Facilities: The barbecue facilities were available and worked well, though we did encounter some issues (more on that below). Host Support: Our hosts were welcoming and provided us with all the basic information we needed upon arrival. They also kept us informed about local events during our stay and responded to our messages, addressing our most pressing concerns as best they could. Kitchen: The kitchen was generally well-equipped in terms of utensils, making meal preparation relatively easy.

Mattress Issues: The mattress in our bedroom was completely worn out, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. After complaining, a topper was provided, but it didn't solve the problem. Eventually, the mattress was replaced with one from another apartment, which was better but still not ideal. Air Conditioning: The air conditioning was only in the living/dining area and didn’t cool effectively despite being set to the lowest temperature. The bedrooms were uncomfortably hot, with only a fan provided, which wasn’t enough. AC Condensation Issue: The air conditioning unit's condensation had to be collected in buckets on the balcony, which overflowed at night, creating a slipping hazard in the morning. At the rate we paid, this should not have been our responsibility. Lighting: The lighting in the living/dining area was too weak, forcing us to use a flashlight to wash dishes on the first night. The replacement bulb made the room feel cold and uninviting. Kitchen Equipment: While the kitchen was well-equipped, it lacked some essentials like an adequate number of forks and knives, forcing us to wash up after every meal. Conversely, there were too many pots and coffee machines, leaving little space for food storage. Additional shelves would have been very helpful. Cleanliness: Upon arrival, we found some glasses that hadn’t been properly washed and had stains. The barbecue was also full of ash, and the cleaning brush provided was filthy. Microwave Placement: The microwave was placed too close to the gas stove, making it impossible to use two of the burners without risking damage to the microwave. Extractor Hood: The extractor hood was partially broken and dirty, which affected its functionality. Living Room Couch: The couch in the living room was worn out, with cushions that constantly slipped, making it uncomfortable to sit on.

The pool was amazing and Guiseppi and Pamela were superb hosts.

Air conditioning could have been a bit more cooling
