Grotto Bay Beach Resort

Staff was friendly and there was ample room in the beach area to not feel crowded. Weather was also beautiful.

Very convenient to the airport. The pool and beach are good but can get crowded. Many people elect the all inclusive option so you do get families with children. I did not elect all inclusive but we could eat at the restaurants in a pay as you go. Dive and snorkel trips to the reef(s) available on site. There is a bus stop out front for easy access to Hamilton or St George’s. It is walking distance to Swizzle Inn but any other off site dining requires transportation. Crystal and Fantasy Caves are walking distance as is a rail trail walking trail section that is very beautiful. Tom Moore Tavern is very close but lacks a sidewalk so it’s best to Cab or scooter there. Massage in the cave on site is great but they are hard to book and should be done ahead of time.

The hotel is beautifully located near the water. It appears to be well maintained. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. You do have to walk up and down a hill and steps to get around the resort. The beach is calm and clear- not a wave in sight. People travel with their kids here & they have fun cause of the floatation play area in the water. The rooms aren’t exactly sound proof so you will hear a child crying if they are next door to you. ( Happened to me) They offer bus tokens for a fee if you want to use the bus system along with a bus map and schedule. Their bus system is extremely reliable and efficient bus system. I went for carnival and majority of my expenses was for taxi service- I used the app Hitch which was reliable for me. I found the taxi fares to be extremely high. The crystal cave is super cool- however I didn’t have time to go in the water. Recommendations: -Offer free airport shuttle service since it’s literally 5 mins away - If you don’t get the all inclusive package, breakfast should at least be included

Amazing property. You wont find a more unique experience with the Cathedral Cave swimming and the Natura Spa cave experience. Quiet and beautiful beach. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had a beautiful ocean view. We really enjoyed our stay here. All the steps and walking kept us active and we worked off all of our vacation food that we consumed lol

Fantastic

The location was great. Bus stops to Hamilton and St George’s at the entrance to property. Unbelievable Spa experience in caves. Always able to get shade at beach and pool. Food was decent. Short walk to Swizzle Inn. 5 minute cab to and from airport. Very attentive staff.

Breakfast Buffett needed more berries and premade eggs. Bathroom a bit small.

Property was very nice. We felt safe and comfortable. Everything was just as it was described.
