Hotel La Cupula

The property has a lot of character, with lovely gardens, big windows with different coloured glass, and the garden has two llamas. Staff really helpful and friendly. We got an early check in which was really kind of them. Breakfast is good - if you want cappuccinos or lattes there is an extra cost however good coffee! Both the Cupula restaurant and the Condor and eagle coffee shop (same premises as restaurant have very good food open from 3-5pm). Good view of the lake.

Towels a bit tired and discoloured. Our bed was up against the wall which made it difficult to go to the bathroom at night as I was sleeping on the side by the wall. WiFi terrible for 70% of our stay, general issue in Bolivia. Could not really get the right temp in the shower, either scalding or like warm and edge pressure kept coming and going.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Location was goog.

All the stairs can be daunting, not a hotel for differently abled people.

It was nice it was slightly off the main town so it was quiet. Friends I made said the main town and hostels meet noisy at night. So this was a bonus have the peace.

The room did smell very damp which wasn’t great and nit that comfy. Fine for 1 night but the damp smell did really put me off.

Comfy quirky , fab evening meal and breakfast - wonderful place to chill out!
