Indianpoint Motel

The surrounding area is beautiful- great for a stroll by oneself, the family or a pet !

I guess all the positive reviews were from guests in the main motel building that has only one floor. We were in the building at the end, which has residents in the second floor. These people were loudly stomping back and forth until after 1:00 AM, only to resume at 5:30 AM. The room itself was nice, but thanks to the noise it was a very disappointing, sleepless experience overall. If you choose to stay here, I highly recommend you insist on staying in the main, single-floor motel building.

Grosszügig, sauber, ruhig, würde wieder kommen

They seemed confused about our arrival and how to check us in. But we’re very friendly. It’s an older property, rundown and outdated. The smell of cheap air freshener was over powering. No heating when we arrived in the room, it was incredibly cold and took a few hours to warm up. Sheets and towels had been well laundered, but we’re past showing signs of their age. Stove/sink/fridge combo was handy if dated and probably dangerous. Overall it was like going back to the 80’s if the 80’s hadn’t been updated since the 60’s. Clean place, but really dated and not worth what we paid. We wouldn’t stay again.

Very nice place. Nice location. Very large and well equiped room. Dog friendly. We would return.
