Most beautifully presented breakfast in a conservatory like a fairytale!

Great place to stay, the hosts are fantastic, friendly and inviting. The lodge is clean well kept and to a high standard. Easy to find plenty of parking and the gardens are beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

Slightly far from St Ives (need a car to get there), but is nothing compared to the place. Our stay was perfect.

Outstanding. This is by far the best b&b we have stayed in. Spotless, great breakfast and lovely warm atmosphere. Steve and Tressa were most helpful, a little gem . With easy reach of st Ives by bus £2.50 each way . We will definitely be booking again .

Facilities were very good

This was the most exceptional B&B we stayed in on our tour of the south coast. There were some good stays but none that could compare with Halwell Lodge. This was a place run with heart. Others were just efficient in comparison. It was reflected in the breakfast they served - so much choice. Fresh fruit salad, Cornish Bacon and eggs which we tried for the first time and toasted sour dough bread. Tessa and Steve paid great attention to all the little home comforts they offered. A beautiful lounge and dining area to relax in overlooking a tranquil garden. A tastefully furnished bedroom which was whisper quiet despite a road adjacent to the house. And most of all ample parking. It is located just outside St Ives with a Bus running to town frequently. Or you could hike part of the picturesque south coast track along the sea.
