We booked the small "Balsam" Cabin at Wilderness Inn which is a very cozy cottage in the woods. Even if its getting colder there is a fire place and a well working heating. We felt welcome right from the start. Everything was arranged with care: matches for the fireplace, coffee capsules, sufficient towels. In addition, the location is excellent next to Whiteface Mountain and High Falls Gorge.

"Quaint cabins, great communication from owners!"

The perfect stay for our family. Clean space, easy to access and park, private enough to not be breathing down a neighbors neck. Fantastic communication from the owners when booking, before the trip, and while there. It's a really personal touch that I've never had elsewhere. We will absolutely be coming back!

"Relaxing break in the forest with a lot of things to do around"

This is the place we were looking for: quiet, in the forest and relaxing. We enjoyed the common BBQ. From here you can go around the Adirondack mountains. We hiked and went to the Mirror Lake and Colby Lake beaches.

Some accurate inspections for insects should be done (I know we are in the forest, but we got some annoying bites while in the beds).

"Good but needs renovation."

Personal Whatsapp contact with owners was nice. Better would have been to meet someone in person.

Cabin is complete, but really needs an update (furniture, kitchen f.i.). Because of that price does not match value.

"Could be a nice place if owners did a little remodeling."

Place had a musty smell. Remove old carpet and install LVT. Shower needs replaced.
