Log Cabin in the Field

Cute tiny cabin, stylish and clean. Rick, the owner, is a very helpful and pleasant man, who explained us how to get to downtown and where to dine .

You enter the cabin and you see the toilet, bathtub with a shower and sink right away. The next door takes you to the room. Room is very tiny, but cosy. There's no water pressure in the sink, so you can get a glass of water perhaps after a minute of waiting. Shower is good though . The cabin is very close to Street 5, and the traffic is pretty heavy and loud until late night. You can hear it through the closed windows. The heat / AC is central and is controlled from the office. If you need to adjust the temp you can either open/close window, or open/close the floor metal vent. All these can be compensated by a good and low price the cabin cost

Ric (owner) was very nice and welcoming. The room itself was tiny, with virtually no room to walk around, and part of several other rooms located on the premises in the cabin. The problem was that Ric has a very strict and completely understandable no smoking policy. About 9:00 p.m. we smelled the distinct smell of smoke and texted Ric, and he went downstairs and said that the people below us were smoking and he asked them to stop. An hour later the smell returned and he went downstairs and this time said they were burning incense and asked them to stop. Around 7:00 in the morning the smell returned and we told him that we were leaving and very dissatisfied. He replied that the people weren't smoking they were burning incense as if that somehow made the slightest difference. DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY if you don't want to be bothered by smoke. Otherwise, if you don't mind staying in a tiny room with a tiny bathroom and a tiny shower, it's okay.

The bed was super comfy!! The host was such a nice guy!! Everything about the stay was wonderful!

I was quiet and comfortable. The additional amenities of the jacuzzi and fire pit were nice, unfortunately we didn’t get to them by choice due to arriving late. I did meet the owner nice person gave us a thank you card for staying. The place had very hot water made for a relaxing shower. I would definitely stay here again, and arrive early enough to enjoy the jacuzzi.
