スタッフの方々のサービスはとても親切で良かったと思います。 館内も癒されるもので溢れていて居心地も良かったです。 お食事は盛り付けも綺麗ですし 演出も最高なのですが量、質が満足出来た感じではありませんでした。 山形県産米を使っていたのですがお家で炊いたご飯の方がツヤ感ももち感も上でした。県産米が生かされていなくて残念です。 せっかくの素敵な旅館なので お食事のグレードはもっとＵＰしても良いと思います。

Kind staff, very young but eager. It's a nice welness hotel option around Sendai and the rooms are lovely, however we got the hotel at a 40% discounted rate and would still say it's only worth max 25 000yen pP / night. Full price of almost 500 000 per person - no way it's worth it, and we've stayed at many hotels and ryokans across the country. The Western bed was very uncomfortable, you could even feel the springs, so we opted for double futons and had a good sleep. They did have a nice common area with a fire, and you could get alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from there which is great. They accommodated our dietary needs (no fish, meat, dairy) at breakfast and it was absolutely divine.

The bathroom looked like a grandparents bathroom, completely different vibe to the rest of the room. Price / value ratio is simply not there.

Dinning is excellent. Frontdesk customer service is wonderful and well complimented; we feel warm and welcomed.

Such a nice relaxed feel from the moment you arrive. Room size was good with a lovely outlook. Food (we had breakfast and dinner) were amazing traditional fair. Onsens were lovely.

The only thing that we didn’t like was the smell of wood fire throughout the building from the fireplace at the lobby area. It was definitely a nice atmosphere maker, but the smell is very overpowering. Luckily our room was far enough away we didn’t smell it from there.

The interior of the hotel was created to make you feel like you were truly in the middle of the forest. I loved all of the little lounge areas and the dining room was beautiful. It was also a special treat to be greeted with a drink and snack by the fire. Staff were very helpful in calling a taxi for us to return to the station on the day of check-out.

Dinner was very good but honestly the food could have used a bit more salt. The onsen baths were smaller than I expected and only one side had a rotemburo.

This was the most elegant and restful stay of my life. Food is incredible - deserves a bib gourmand! Rooms are large and comfortable with a view. Onsen is lovely. The best is the free alcohol and hot drink service in the evenings around the fireplace. Definitely stay here if you can! It’s once in a lifetime type stuff
