Fouquet's Saint-Barth

This property is worth every penny. I am use to luxury accommodations, however Le Carl is next level, with Japanese toilets, high quality everything and the staff is happy, kind, and always in a great mood and willing to help. The hotel is walking distance to everything. I look forward to coming back soon!

It was perfection. Gorgeous chic large room fabulous views and incredible level of service. The food was also divine and the hotel is close to a world class beach.

Very pleasant staff throughout — airport transfer, front desk, restaurant, housekeeping. Location has splendid views over Gustavia harbor, and relatively easy access to the restaurants and shops. Though the hotel is not on the beach, it is a short walk from a lovely public beach, Shell Beach at Anse de Grand Galet, where Shellona bar/restaurant is located. Breakfast food is somewhat standard, but the terrace overlooking the sea is delightful, with cool morning breezes and no direct sun.

My room had an annoying very loud periodic vibration related to the water pipes. Whenever the pressurizing pump went on, the pipes vibrated and some water was forced out of the shower head even though the valve was closed. Fortunately this didn’t occur during the night. I can’t believe I’m the first person to observe this; the hotel should solve this problem. The bathroom also had an unusual feature in that the toilet and the open shower were in the same enclosure. This meant that for hours after using the shower, I had to walk over wet floor to use the toilet.

The most amazing stay ever!! first time travelling to st barths and i couldn't have had a better experience the hotels staff is amazing and so accommodating. the property is stunning and so close to everything. we cant wait to go back next year!!-

The rooms were beautiful. The location was great - the housekeeping however is an issue. The front desk is very nice and goes out of their way to help.

Located atop a mountainside overlooking the beautiful Gustavia Harbor and providing amazing views, this hotel was well worth the hefty price. While it was the most expensive hotel we have ever stayed in, it was also the most luxurious as well. The concierge was amazing at setting up rides and provide tips for our stay. All staff were exceptionally friendly and made you feel like a VIP right from the initial complementary beverage with a view when you arrive. Lots of amenities within the room that are helpful on your trip and are provided within the price of the room. The rooms are spacious, modern, and have comfortable beds. The room we rented had a private pool right in the balcony area - highly recommend it! The location is walking distance to the Gustavia Harbor with lots of shops and access to the ferry services as well. I have never said of any other hotel that it was so clearly the best hotel, but Le Carl Gustaf has earned that title well above and beyond any other hotel that I have stayed in before! Would definitely stay here again!
