We booked 2 nights and were pleasantly surprised that the room was ‘freshened up’ while we were out wandering after the first night . A throw back kind of service—very much appreciated.

"If you looking for "accessible, DON'T stay here!"

Staff was friendly, room was clean and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was okay, though some of the items were a bit dry.

The bathroom was described as "accessible;" I would NOT give it that rating! Yes, there were three grab bars along the tub: one was very low and across the back end of the tub, which had a slanted back and a person would not be able to get in or out of the tub from that end; the 2nd bar was vertical against the far side of the tub, making it ALMOST usable, if one could safely reach far enough to grab it; and the 3rd bar was horizontal below the 2nd, again not really reachable from outside the tub. The tub chair was OUTSIDE the tub and another person was needed to get it over and into the tub. (Imagine a handicapped person traveling alone?) The tub floor was EXTREMELY slippery and again a second person was needed for me to get in and out of the tub (and the chair also slid around, despite having suction cups on its feet). MOST CONCERNING was NO HANDRAIL by the toilet! The toilet seat could also be higher. An additional chair in the bedroom would have been nice. There was no available outlet on my side of the bed for my CPAP without moving the nightstand and unplugging the floor lamp. Handicapped parking was at the far end of the building, as was our "accessible" room.
