"Staff were great, food was great, but the hotel itself is not as advertised and I'd avoid here."

The bed was comfy, the staff were lovely, and the breakfast was nice too.

Cleanliness, dust on chandelier, hair on bathroom floor, window didn't lock but was stuck open with scaffolding right outside, all small issues but for £100 a night I just want a clean room. Also mold that was painted over? I don't know what it is but the wall opposite the bathroom door is damp and just looks like it's been painted over as a quick fix. No heating? Was told only the owner can turn our heating on? The place just screams "steady income for a lazy owner" basically a glorified air b&b.
