We stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Oxford the day after Christmas for a one-night stay and booked three rooms on the first floor. The hotel was fairly quiet, which made check-in smooth. Overall, the stay was average. The staff was friendly and helpful — they even took a few family photos for us, which we appreciated. Breakfast was standard and ran smoothly with typical options available. That said, there were a few maintenance issues that were disappointing. One of our rooms did not have a shower curtain upon arrival. We had to go back to the front desk to request one, and instead of staff installing it, we were handed a magnetic curtain and asked to put it up ourselves. It would have been more appropriate for hotel staff to handle that. Additionally, one of the sinks in another room was not draining properly. After calling the front desk, a staff member came up to address it, and with the help of my father, they were able to resolve the issue. The rooms also felt dimly lit compared to the online photos, and the overall appearance didn’t quite match expectations based on the listing. It wasn’t a bad stay, just not quite what we anticipated. With better attention to room preparation and maintenance checks before guest arrival, the experience would have been much stronger.

The location was perfect, the ambiance was friendly.
