Aretusa Apartments by Wonderful Italy

They were almost an hour late to let us into the property, when they did, we found the oven had been left on for the last several hours and the apartment was unbelievably hot. The View shown on the booking site and what you get in reality should be classed as fraud. Kitchen was poorly equipped, no cutting knives or boards, broken coffee machine. Toilet seat was broken.

The ground floor had significant wall damage posing a trip hazard on the stairway it needs cleaning, stair lighting poor.

Loved the location, in the middle of it all and walkable.. few stairs up to the top apartment, and the private terrace made my marriage better, lol. Can’t get a better view, complete kitchen very relaxxxing

Can’t run all the AC’s at the same time, tripped power, but directions are easy to reset.

Beautiful apartment, attentive and helpful staff

Noisy area not mentioned when booking. Some central Ortigia is quiet and some is noisy so it could have been either. Nice to mention.

the terrace is the biggest highlight, with view over the sea. You cannot get any better location. The living room and kitchen are quite big. Great broadband/wifi connection. Very clean and we had continuous support from the agency giving us hints on basically everything, from parking, to sightseeing, where to go swimming and various tours.

The bathroom isn't that great. There is no real curtain in the bathroom, just a super thin textile one that works during the day, but pointless at night. If you require privacy from the neighbours, this might be a disappointment. Overall the flat is fantastic, that would be an easy upgrade, making the flat perfect.
