Atour Hotel Harbin Songbei Ice and Snow World

Great hotel with everything needed (including laundry, gym), comfortable and clean rooms, helpful staff and amazing breakfast! I did not know the Atour brand before but I booked other Atour hotels after this very positive experience, they never disappoint.

The only minus is the location which means ordering a taxi or car each time to visit Harbin's landmarks.

Breakfast was good. The staff were extremely helpful. They really went the extra mile to help us with our needs. We had the big family room and the price was very good.

Das Hotel liegt außerhalb der Stadt aber in der Nähe des Ice Festivals und Sun Island. Zum sibirischen Tiger Park und zum Opernhaus sind es nur jeweils 4 km. Wir sind das locker zu Fuß gelaufen vom Hotel aus. Taxis werden sehr schnell im Hotel bestellt. Eine Fahrt in die Stadt kostet keine 7 €! Zum Ice Festival sogar nur 3-4 €! Das Hotel macht einen sehr guten Eindruck. Wir waren anfangs etwas skeptisch ob der günstigen Zimmer. Es hat aber auf jeden Fall westlichen Touch und ist sehr zu empfehlen. Unser Zimmer hatte Fußbodenheizung, ein vom Bad getrennten Waschtisch und einen Sofabereich mit Schreibtisch. Alles top! Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und natürlich chinesisch. Es gibt aber auch Toast mit Marmelade und Joghurt, Cerealien und Früchte. Spiegeleier und Omelettes werden frisch zubereitet. Kaffee und Tee sind immer vorhanden. Zum Abendessen kann ich nichts sagen da wir immer unterwegs gegessen haben. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und bemüht. Leider sprechend die wenigsten Angestellten Englisch, so dass es auf jedenfalls ratsam ist, seine Ziele vorher schon als Screenshot auf dem Handy parat zu haben. Es gibt mittlerweile auch gute Übersetzungsprogramme wie z.B. Baidu. Wichtig: WhatsApp und Google funktionieren in China nicht oder nur sporadisch. Man kann sich aber mit einem VPN Abhilfe verschaffen. Das hat sehr gut funktioniert. Manche VPN Programme bieten eine kostenlose Test-Version an. Fazit: das Hotel ist uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert
