Sandy Neck Motel

Property was quiet. Had good location. Was clean. Check in and out was easy and efficient!! Perfect girls trip!

Loved the area!

The grounds were well maintained. The petunias growing through the cracks in the parking lot were hardy. The person on the phone was nice and professional.

We arrived to a room that was not clean It had not been cleaned from the previous people. Trash overflowing, feces on the toilet seat, unmade beds. No staff available to speak with had to make several phone calls to get into another room. The linens were cheap. The shower curtain had mildew on it

Very quiet, large room

The room looked clean at first, but was actually quite dirty, several dead flies laying around and our feet were filthy from walking around. The coffee maker was disgusting.

Beautiful room with a nice large refrigerator! Liked the keyless access.

Air conditioner worked but barely turned on. There were a lot of flies (fly swatters were provided). No one on site to help when we checked.

Property was beautiful. The stay was good. Rooms were clean and cute. Had a small issue with the door lock but staff was easily reachable and quick to resolve. Great place to stay if you don't mind the motel atmosphere and no frills.

When we arrived and opened the door we found dead bugs and ants all over the bedroom and bathroom. We were able to get one of the girls making up another unit to vacuum it for us. But we spend the three days killing ants. We had to run the water for a very long time before getting any hot water The lights in the unit kept flickering. One of the shades had slats missing since we stayed there last year.

Hotel was in a great location with Sandyneck Beach a mile down the road and restaurant options close by. Rooms are recently updated. Easy checkin but no front desk attendant. We found the beds to be to comfortable and the A/C worked well in the July heat. It would be nice to have an ice maker on site. I would return.

That the beach was very close.

My bathroom door wouldn't close. There was someone else's soap in the shower. I didn't travel with shampoo/conditioner and I had 2 shampoos and NO conditioner in my room. Not alot of easy plugs. All coffee was flavored. I was here for a wedding and it was challenging to get ready. The only mirror was in bathroom and I could only see my head. Nothing was terribly wrong but it wasn't a good fit for the purpose of my visit.

Beds were a bit uncomfortable and the bathroom sink was loose on the wall. Also the bathroom door did not open all the way or close properly. The bottom hinge on the door was very loose.
