Wonderful caring staff. Place was super quiet and clean, perfect for a relaxing break.
Interesting spot, not to do after a day. Wish they didn’t serve the same thing for dinner each night.
We booked two nights but left after one due to a private party with loud music lasting until late evening. The "mountain view" room actually faced a fence and a small hill—no mountains in sight. Management wasn't upfront about this or the noise issue, and getting a refund was difficult, involving hours of calls with Expedia. Breakfast was disappointing—wrapped in plastic and salads looked stale. However, some staff were friendly and helpful.
Beautiful lodging. Cool experience for a night. Guest services/staff were nice but slightly disorganized with checkin / checkout, especially when booked throught 3rd party. They wanted me to show them receipts of pre-payments and that was a hassle with spotty data /wifi. Usually expedia does that directly with the hotel and l have never had an issue until now. They repeatedly kept asking if I had paid for drinks and settled bills, hours after and through checkout. Again seems like they need to have a better way of tracking. For the $200-300 / night it was a good experience. For the tents that are $1000 Euro a night, they have none of the amenities, dinner service, etc. that justify that price point. You would be better off at La Moumounia for that price...
Excellent stay for me and my wife. The staff were really welcoming and went above and beyond for our honeymoon. Whole place was super clean and comfy throughout. A selection of activities too and we took the buggy ride which was excellent and guide was exceptional. Cannot fault anything here.
It has been a magical time in the lodge. We enjoyed our time there. The team is amazing, helping and really nice. Amine helped me resolving all my questions and doubt before my arrival and on location, Nahim was really helpful. We enjoyed the camel ride, the karting in the desert, the stars viewing was an incredible experience. The pool help you to have a relaxing time between activities and meal.
It is a very peaceful place for a quiet holiday. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The food however was poor. All there was to offer was Tanjin beef/chicken/veg. Nothing more. Got tired of it after the 1st time i had it. Its fine for 1 day but nothing more than that. They need to offer their guest more especially when there's no other place to dine nearby.
A NYE from hell: We booked this months in advance during NYE, with the intent of proposing to my fiance during the last sunset but instead we paid quite the price for what it appears to be the worst value for our money. Getting to our tent, we were surprised but how dirty it was, we expected some dust since it’s in the middle of the desert but the tent had mold all over it and the toilet was not even flushed. No toiletries, no water…we had to climb a hill to go to reception and get it. We requested in advance a hair dryer and an iron since my fiance wanted to get ready for the NYE and was excited about the sunset (without her knowing it was the moment where I’ve planned to pop the question). After asking at the reception and calling multiple times to get the iron and the hair dryer, they finally said that some other room took it and they dont have a spare one, imagine paying 1,000$ and the place doesn’t even have enough irons/hair dryer. Long story short my fiance ended up another wrinkled but black dress and did a hair bun to only miss the sunset and miss the perfect moment to propose. I guess it was never meant to be. This is not an attack against the staff, they were the best, but more criticism of the owners to put more resources i’ve been to 2 stars riads with better equipment. don’t only think about profit and instead try to capture the essence of moroccan hospitality, profit will eventually come later.
Ne vaux pas son prix. Service pas au niveau
Great place to stay. Amazing views.
