Lovely house and garden with private car park, locked after 10pm, set in a quiet residential area. Large family room with comfortable bed and small en-suite bathroom. Shower could've been better. Very pleasant landlady and enjoyable breakfast. Slightly pricey if on your own as I was but would have been excellent value for a family so 5 stars.
Friendly welcome to this cosy guest house. The decor was dated, but everything was very clean and well presented. Breakfast was delicious and the service can’t be faulted. Our trip was specifically to visit the Zoo, and this property 10 mins away was a great find. Highly recommended, and a definite for us as a return destination.

Room #4 No Hot water from the tap Bathroom light timer NO good specially when Very slow shower before you finish light goes off TV too small for that size of room, well outdated

We had a one night stay at The Green Gables whilst travelling through Chester. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The room was cozy, though slightly dated and shower was adequate. Breakfast was lovely and home cooked. Good value. Decent location to town center -£4 taxi ride away.

Visited Chester with family. It was a long awaited family holiday. Nice quaint ans small b&b, beautifully maintained and very homely. The lockdown put a damper on the holiday like most things, but tha to do with the b&b. The lady running it, was very friendly and accommodating. They had taken all safety measures considering the situation.
