The complex is extremely large, with several towers. The infinity pool area costs extra — and it’s very expensive. There are no pools or relaxation areas included in the regular room price, which was quite disappointing. Now to the most bizarre part: if you’re traveling with younger kids, be aware that they are required to wear a life vest in the pool, even in the shallow area where they can easily stand. The staff do not speak any English, so they just keep insisting — several of them standing by the pool — that your child must wear the vest, no matter what you say. Our child refused to wear it (she loves diving), so the whole “infinity pool” experience lasted about 10 minutes before we had to leave. It was honestly absurd — hard to believe, but true. The room itself was fine, no complaints — just a standard hotel room. We ended up eating outside the enormous complex, at the most genuine and lovely restaurant instead of paying the ridiculously high prices for food inside.

예약확인번호를 주어도 부킹닷컴은 해외사이트여서 확인이 안된다고 체크인 카운트에서 얘기하여 예약확인후 체크인하는데 30분이상 소요되었고, 화장실 문이 고장나서 사람이 40분이상 갇혀있었음. 만약 휴대폰이 없었다면 꼼짝없이 마냥 갇혀있을 상황인데 제대로된 사과조차 없는 황당한 리조트 경험을 하였음!

The rooms were big and the resort itself was beautiful. But there were some big negatives!

We were really disappointed in our stay at this hotel. It very much felt like an Instagram vs. reality situation. First off, check in was packed when we arrived. You had to take a number and wait to be called, about 30 minutes for us. After that, we went to check out the beach…only to find it completely closed! You couldn’t even walk down to the beach, as the stairs were barricaded and the beach filled with trash. Management should be ashamed! They need to clean the beach off and open it for, at a minimum, walking along, but swimming too! How can you have a resort name Jindo BEACH resort that has a trashed beach you can only look at from above?! Our second huge issue here is that they nickle and dime you for literally EVERYTHING. We ended up having to spend triple what we had budgeted for, which is a real shame for a large family like ours. The pool is stunning…but costs 35,000 won per person per day. And even with paying, there are weird rules. Like you can only leave once during the day and only for a two hour period. So your kid needs a nap after swimming all morning….it better be less than two hours or you can’t re-enter. Want to sit down while you’re at the pool? You’ll pay 70,000 won to rent two chair and an umbrella. Your kids need a life jacket to swim in the largest pool…you pay for those. Oh, and while the pool looks gorgeous…it is PACKED! Like hundreds of people just standing around trying to take pictures along the edge to make it look like nobody is around. Overall, we had a really bad experience here. While the respite facilities are beautiful, you’re pretty secluded, so you are pretty much at the mercy of the resort for food and activities. With the beach closed and the restaurants being extremely pricey, you will be spending money at every turn. We will save our money next time and return to Jeju for half the price and a 10x better experience. I can’t recommend this resort, especially if you have a larger family. It’s completely unreasonable.
