Pirates Cove Resort Studios!

It was overbooked so we did not get the king bed with ocean view that we reserved. The beds were old and uncomfortable, the shower was only warm, no hot water, the balcony door did not lock, the TV had very bad clarity, beach chairs were rusty and not operative. This was a very bad experience. I don’t recommend staying at Pirate cove.

The Internet will not stay on it comes on for 30inutes then is off for hours. The owners management company andanager are horrible. The property management company is great but the manager associated with the owner is one very unprofessional individual.

Even though the room appeared to be clean, it was distressed.

I never got to stay at Pirate’s Cove. When I inquired about checking in 2 hrs before normal time they informed me they had overbooked and offered me a similar lodging at the Oceanside Inn. This location was 4 miles away.

Place is run down. There were only 2 lamps with 25 watt bulbs to light room. I had to use flashlight to set clock on microwave. Outlet at sink/counter did not work. Water leaked through windows. Tub was dangerously slippery (i fell once) and spout is in need of repair. Hallway carpets were filthy and stank.

Love the view and privacy. Area is perfect

Bathroom is a little smaller but perfectly acceptable
