Villas Snowberry by Whistler Retreats

Ideally situated for free shuttle bus to and from village, lost lake and valley trails.

There were a lot of stairs that led from living/ kitchen area that couldn’t be shut off and we had a toddler in the group. Fortunately he kept away from them unless he was with an adult but if you have very young children you might want to think about this.

Loved the location, just steps away from the bus stop. Had a great entryway with well planned ski and boot storage. The living room area was perfect for our family to hang out in with the comfortable sofa and nice kitchen set up. The bedroom mattresses were all comfortable.

Really appreciate the ability to check in an hour early. Our unit had the best setup for daily storage of skies and boots of any place we've stayed at Whistler.

That you had to use the key fob to get out of the garage... isn't that a safety issue in case of an emergency?

Good location near shuttle service but away from the noise and bustle of the main village. Condo was large and could accommodate a big group.

It’s a bummer there is no hot tub available but this wasn’t a mandatory item on our trip.

Property was very neat and tidy, all facilities (washing machine, microwave, cooking, dishwasher etc...) were excellent. Rooms are a great size and beds were super comfortable. The bus stops at the front door. Thumbs up all round

kitchen was well stocked to cook our own meals during our stay.

garage door remote needs to have the batteries replaced. took many attempts each time we needed to get the car in and out of the garage.

Almost everything - apartment, location, facilities, Whistler town

Only one parking bay for a 3 bedroom apartment!?! Fortunately, a very kind resident let us use their bay for a second vehicle during our stay (deducted one star for this). The company which manages the property (Whistler Retreats) are not very responsive and repeatedly ignored my questions regarding early check-in and parking. When I phoned on arrival to once again ask about the parking, I spoke to the rudest person who takes messages when their lines are busy. She was extremely curt and unhelpful and just told me to keep phoning back until I reach the right person on their team. She wouldn’t take a message and couldn’t tell me when their office would be closing for the day. So if you do have any questions or run into any issues during your stay, which we fortunately didn’t, don’t expect too much from them (deducted another star for this too).
