Rainbow Suites by Whistler Retreats

If we did not have to deal with a little mouse in the property, we would have rated highly.

The property was central and easy to access. The host was friendly and amenable.

The taxi queue was outside our suite and we were woken every night between 12 and 3 by noisy people waiting for taxis.

Good location in the Village, convenient to lifts, grocery and restaurants.

Baseboard heaters didn’t work so we were freezing! We called twice and they were friendly but never got back to us so we ended up having to wear all our snowboard gear to sleep in. Mice running around in the kitchen, no light in the refrigerator, breakers kept popping, dishwasher pulled out of wall every time we opened it, loud neighbors and music from downstairs, I could go on and on.

Ideal location in the heart of Whistler. Having a parking space underneath was great.

As mentioned in other reviews, it can be a bit noisy at night with a taxi rank just outside. However, having been warned, that did not spoil our stay. There is a sunken lounge in the middle of the property, surrounded by the doors to the various suites. The 2 steps down are the same coloured carpet as the surrounding area, and I was lucky not to break my ankle when I fell walking towards my suite door.

Excellent location and good value. First stop next time.
