Sleep Inn at Discovery Park of America

Breakfast was pretty good with several options.

Staff was super nice.The beds were so comfortable! Nice roomy bathroom with counter space. Very clean.

Good location, decent parking. Short distance away from gas stations and stores. Quiet location.

0 to another employee. The first room I received on the third floor was not cleaned, bags of trash unlocked. So then I had to take my already sleepy kids back down and get another room. The front desk lady was complaining about not having another room, the other employee went to look at the room. She eventually found us another room. To only discover when I tried to bathe my child there was no shower curtain. Called down to the front desk and about ten minutes later the two employees brought up a shower curtain. The first breakfast the worker was on top of stuff, cleaning polite restocking. The second day the worker was rude, didn't restock and I was refused a fork because breakfast was over in four minutes. They use plastic silverware and paper plates. The third day I almost didn't go to breakfast because of how rude she was. I'm glad we did it was the same worker from the first day, what a difference. The food isn't anything special but at the price point of the hotel and all the nightmares I felt it to be a small perk. There was also an issue with laundry. No clean towels! We were there 4 nights on the second morning I spoke to housekeeping and said can I leave my dirty towels outside the door and. Receive clean ones please. I can pass on any room cleaning for clean towels please. She stated yes. So I left the towels in a neat pile outside my door and we left the hotel. Upon returning no towels. Went to the front desk, stated she was working on them. Ok, so we went to the pool, there were two towels! After about two hours I went back down to the front desk and was like my kids are very tired we would like clean towels, even if they are not folded. She stated she didn't have any. I asked her how long til she could possibly have three clean dry towels?! She found two. I had to use a hand towel to dry the baby! Just ridiculous. The staff always said they were fully booked, yet the hotel never seemed busy.

The breakfast was okay. I like the room was a good size. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

I had to ask for towels after I asked for my room to be cleaned and fresh towels before I left that morning. I didn't like that I was at the end of the hall.
