Absolutely highly recommend one of the best hotels I've ever seen in don't go away a lot has got kids so for me and my partner absolutely fantastic we loved it such a beautiful quiet place such good decor and fantastic location

There's nothing I don't like about this hotel not one thing

Easy booking and check in, plus we had booked a table in restaurant and that was lovely. Clear explanation of keys etc. including how to get in when restaurant is closed. Room decor is quirky and fun, and the large bathroom with double-sized bath was a fabulous addition. Facilities were clean and well-stocked. Staff in the hotel and restaurant were friendly and accommodating.

Surprised that the bathroom windows weren't frosted - this could very easily be achieved and would provide more privacy. Curtains in the bedroom were broken - the member of staff was apologetic and clearly explained how they could still be used, however I would suggest rectifying this would help it not detract from the experience.

Beautiful little place right on the river, big room and lovely big bath right in front of the window overlooking the river. Big bed and ideally located just outside the main town centre. Fantastic staff and lovely welcome especially from Liame who cleans the rooms. SO friendly and will return.

The main radiator in the bedroom wasn't on and we couldn't get it to work, wasn't a problem at all and we didn't tell anyone as we were too busy enjoying the hotel. If we have I'm sure it would've been sorted.

Location was great. Room was nice. Bathroom was excellent. Bed very comfy.

Room was smaller than expected. Couldn’t undo the curtains or blinds. There was loud music playing until 11pm - would have been nice to been given warning of that. Staff welcome was a bit awkward too. Some of the fixtures and fittings were damaged in the room.

Cosy stylish and comfortable. I like the privacy of this room.

Agree that the only adaptation I'd make is ability to turn on a brighter bathroom light as an alternative since even with as skylight it was a little dark in there in winter.

I have stayed here numerous times in the last couple of years and for a room there is nowhere better and the bed is so comfortable. I’ve been in every room and each one is unique but each is fantastic.

Lovely welcome by the guy on the bar, showed me to my room. Room was spacious and bed was comfy. Bathroom was nice and clean. Reading the reviews I’m surprised that no one mentioned it before, but I was in the room which the cheetah wallpaper, there were 7 individual windows all with blinds, so each window had to have the blinds pulled. The hotel is on the market square which is surrounded by lights so at night time, the blinds do not fully cover the window so I felt like I was in a church with all the light coming through. In the morning, trying to get ready there is no main light in the room and the cheetah wallpaper makes the room very dark. I had high hopes for this one but not sure id stay again.

it would be good for heating, it works better overnight
