"Home2Suites Brand - Skip this Brand"

Love the staff and hotel room layout!! The staff: housekeeping, maintenance, front desk (day and night) couldn't be nicer or more welcoming people. The brand Home2Suites is VERY, VERY disappointing. Hilton properties are our 'go to' brand; however, this is our second stay at a Home2Suites and will not stay at one again. The room is too hot for comfortable sleeping and the breakfast buffet food quality was really poor. The room temperature is fixed at no lower than 68 degrees - supposedly a nod to environmental friendliness. Our room temperature rose overnight and sometimes, maybe, reached 68 degrees. Too hot for comfort. The buffet consisted of highly processed food substitutes that resembled eggs, cheese, and meat protein.

"Quick overnight to rest our heads and break up a 20 hour car ride."

having the coffee readily available was a nice thing. The oatmeal was not very warm and the buffet was self serve- which I am just not a huge fan of- but this was self serve meaning items were cold and you had to reheat them. Personal preference- but there was alot of options for people if they desired that type of thing. Front desk was super friendly and welcoming!!

The property itself was fine and comfortable and clean

They didn’t have my booking. The front desk staff was very unhelpful. She was impatient and rude to me.

My feet stuck to the floor. The front staff questioned my reservation and re-typed in all the information which was a complete waste of time and almost gave the impression that she was changing my reservation. The staff members were folding bathroom towels while sitting at the front desk which was odd and very unprofessional. And finally when I inquired about late check out it was just an immediate no. At least pretend to look at your bookings and be accommodating. We won’t be back and I’m thinking we are done with Hilton in general.
