Flinkt personale som var hjælpsom ved indtjekning og også i løbet af vores ophold. Lidt lydt, vi rejste 5 personer (på 3 værelser) 2 af værelserne var lige ovenpå hinanden og der kunne kan høre gennem luftskakten når der blev talt på det andet værelse :-). Beliggenheden var helt super, tæt på liv, restauranter og offentlig transport. Ca 30 min gang til Dom og 10 min til Citybus Hop on/off Værelserne havde det der skulle være og pæne og rene. Halvdelen af vores selvskab benyttede morgenmaden, og den så rigtig lækker ud med et stort udvalg. Noget for en hver smag. Jeg vil ikke udelukke at vi vil benytte dette hotel igen.

Went for a weekend trip to Carnival. This hotel is close to Metro (Barbarossaplatz), and the route of the Carnival. Metro to Central Station was 9-10 minutes at the most, which is next to the Cologne Cathedral. The reception spoke English and were very friendly and accommodating at check-in. They asked if we needed any help or had any questions. Checking out was also quick and easy. They have a coffee shop with snacks/coffee/drinks (beer) available to purchase with cash or credit card. They have great tasting cappuccino.... The hotel had elevator and stairs. The room was clean and we were given a room with view to parade/street. It was good to have the room with a view. The hotel seemed packed with people, but they were active in maintaining their area clean. There was even security in the evening to ensure guests were ok when entering the hotel. The hotel area was safe for us during the day and late night. I would stay here again without thinking twice. There are little Kiosk stores, and bigger REWE stores (similar to grocery market) nearby to get food or drinks. There is even a pharmacy next door for any over the counter meds you may need, great for travelers who forget allergy pills. Shower had cool and hot water, with good pressure. The pillows and sheets were crisp/clean. Just note, eating in room is not recommended, they prefer that you use the lobby or cafe, understandable to maintain cleanliness.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr Zentral und gut überall zu Fuß erreichbar. Bahnhof nur 3 KM entfernt.

Praktisch für ein Karnevals-Wochenende.

Just what I needed, for attending a bug convention.

Service, room, and breakfast were very good. Ms. Gunther was fantastic and a valuable asset to the organization. My only complaint was the temperature in the rooms. There was no central air and i just assumed this when booking. Europe benefits a lot from U.S. tourists. They need to do something about this for higher temperatures.

Sehr schönes Praktisches Hotel , in guter Lage . Das Frühstück war echt super , kommen gerne wieder .

Fun and funky hotel, very friendly reception and breakfast staff. The room (medium) was on the small side for 2 but perfectly functional, and thankfully had a ceiling fan which was a saving grace for a warm night. The hotel is on a main street which was a bit noisy, but the window shut out most of the din (aided by the white noise of the fan). Elevator is small, 2 of us barely fit with bags. My only complaint was the price but it was a high demand weekend so all hotels had high rates. I would stay here again.
