Great stay right near the ferry and restaurants etc. We enjoyed the large private bathroom and the size of the bedroom- much larger than a typical Asian hotel room. It also has a shared common space in the entry with games, activities, a water refill station, fridge and sitting area. There's also a nice water station outside, which is great for beach goers with sandy feet! The hosts also have a motorcycle rental shop and gave us a deal on the rental, which we were able to return anytime before closing the next day. (We heard some other places are a per day rental, and not on a 24 hr time period, so you'd have to return it by end of day. Even if you just rented earlier that afternoon.)

The hotel was in Liuqiu township, in the city where ferries arrive and leave. The hotel is about 3 minutes away from the harbor by scooter, and around 6 minutes by foot. It is not on the main street directly, but on a parallel street, which is a good thing from my perspective because it will spare you all the noise of the street, which hosts the night market. About the room, they are quite spacious, the bathroom was also quite spacious in another room. It was well equipped with all the required features in a hotel room (functional TV, locker, soap, etc.), and the bed was really comfortable. And finally something that really made my stay at the hotel enjoyable, is the fact that the owner is very welcoming. He does not speak English, but uses a translator to accommodate each foreigner and does not hesitate to solve any of your problems or help you with your journey on the island.

From my perspective, all of what I am going to cite are not problems, but some points that other people might not like. First of all, as it is mentioned in the title, all the rooms are painted according to cartoons, mainly Disney. So if you are traveling with a child, or do not mind, it is very good, quite funny if you are solo traveling like me, but if you are looking for a room that suits your taste, it might not be a good point. Plus, you don’t get to choose which room you have. Then, the room does not have any window, except in the bathroom in the one I stayed in. That is very common in Taiwanese hotels, but I know many people that find it very uncomfortable. And finally, as the owner is the only one in charge of the hotel, the welcoming desk is his living room. I personally found it awesome, he even invited me to take the tea with him, but for some people it might be a no go. So to conclude, remember that this hotel is quite cheap, even for Taiwan, so if you are looking for a better looking hotel, with a more professional service, you will have to go somewhere else.
