The FINCH

I booked the Finch after TripAdvisor rated it the #1 Walla Walla Hotel. We usually stay at the Marcus Whitman which is a wonderful place. The nightly rate at the Finch was much less per night. The room was nicely appointed and the location is great. Staff referred me to the Maple Counter restaurant for breakfast and it was excellent. Definitely will stay here again.

We booked this modern hotel because it is pet friendly. The room was spacious and the beds comfy. The free coffee in the "living" room next to the lobby was decent. It was good to have a fridge in the room. Having booked from Sunday to Tuesday reduced the per-night rate quite a bit compared to the weekend rate.

There was a motion-detector light in the bathroom that went on at night when one was about to enter. Of course, one could right away turn off that light, but there seemed to be no way to turn that feature off. The location was very central and good for exploring the town on foot.

The location was outstanding. We walked everywhere. Only took the car when we went to Dayton. Perfect.

The finch is such an incredible hotel! They are dog friendly and are so accommodating. Jason was so helpful and here for whatever we needed! The hotel is very clean, rooms are very spacious.

Comfortable,attractive, convenient

Super cute property and great location. The bed was on the softer side, but we still slept great. We will definitely stay here again. They have a fire pit you can sit by that was very nice on a fall evening. The staff were extremely friendly. I was a little sad that they don’t have a coffee pot in the room, but they had it stocked from 6am until the evening in the lobby. We were also in a King room, which was located in D building…furthest away from the lobby, also making the coffee in the morning need harder. Parking was also a little hard. The covered parking is very small and their ‘over flow’ lot was pretty far from our room. Great price though!

Lovely, comfortable, very friendly staff, borrowed the well-maintained bikes, and had a pleasant ride to Lake Benington. Loved the complimentary coffee with oatmilk, popcorn, and M&M's. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
