Very cool architecture, interesting room designs, very comfortable bed. The staff was great, giving us suggestions for where to go in town and what restaurants to try. The location was terrific, right downtown.

Great location for visits to Whitman College. It has a trendy, remodeled motel vibe. It's far too expensive for what you get, though. (We paid over $300 for one night for a king room.)

Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is also extremely convenient to both Whitman College and downtown.

I was travelling with my son, and our only quibble with the property was that the door to the bathroom was 'barn door' style, so it didn't fully close, which would be an issue if you really want total privacy.

Afternoon staff was great. Next morning staff was a flat line! No conversation, people had questions on the coffee and the front desk employee just didn’t in gage, there phone was there priority. It’s not hard to inform guests where you are at in the process of getting their coffee bar setup for the morning. It was a miss.

I was traveling with my two children to visit Whitman college, and we really enjoyed The Finch and the room accommodated us all well. The Finch is quite cute -- the decor is fun and the room is big. Would definitely stay there again.

What a great place! It’s easy walking distance to downtown and Whitman campus. Perfect location for exploring the area. The room and bed were so comfortable and everything was very clean and aesthetically lovely. The staff was very helpful and accommodating also.
