Sandy Point Beach Escape

Good rates _for the area_ at midweek, even if not what I'd consider good value overall. House was clean, excellent communication, and very clear instructions for check-in, facilities, checkout etc. Has basic coverage of everything needed for a stay. Bedrooms are huge. Excellent location both for a few mins walk to the beach, and a short (30 mins) drive to Wilsons Prom. Note, beach _access_ is 2 mins away, but the hoof over the dune takes a further 5.

Being the "budget" end of the area is reflected in the apartment overall. Little to no updates since it was built and looking quite tired overall. That's fine mostly, but importantly mattresses in larger beds need replacing. Smaller things like several light bulbs are out, pots and pans are way past non-stick (actually quite damaged), door handles a bit wonky, bug screen doesn't fully close, microwave temperamental, etc. Several signs and notices about water conservation but so old the toilet full flush must use about 30 litres. Oh also the fridge opens the wrong way.

A great place in a great location. Really good communication with the owners. Lots of detail. Really good wifi. This was a good place to head to Wilsons Prom.

Be careful on the driveway, it's pretty steep. The local restaurant has closed down, so bring your own food or be prepared to drive for food.

Very clean, comfortable beds, & great location. The property managers provided exceptional information and support for our stay.

The stairs are a little tricky for access and especially for toddlers, however there will be renovations this year that will improve those soon.

Beautiful area with amazing beach. Owners were very easy to deal with. Would recommend.
