Apartamentos Posidonia

Perfect location, quiet, easy walk to beach restaurants bar supermarket. Apartment was clean, balcony with beautiful views and comfortable for 5 people. Clean towels most days and pools although no sun loungers, for middle of summer holidays were not busy at all!

Could have done with few more things like cutlery, kettle etc so there was enough for the amount of people staying there.

No sunbeds or sun umbrellas around the pools, the only one with sunbeds and a couple of umbrellas was at the main pool, which was quite a walk from us, it would have been nice if the pool by our apartment had them to! We ended up buying an umbrella to make sure my 5 month old baby had some shade but was told off by a member of staff and told we couldn’t use it! Ridiculous! Room wasn’t cleaned until the day before we came home, didn’t really see the point in cleaning it that late into our stay! Some of the residents who live there are extremely rude, we were made to feel very uncomfortable, one lady shouted at our children when the ball rolled out of the pool and headed in the direction of her property, there was no need for that level of rudeness over a small ball! We were a large group, in total we booked 4 apartments, the difference in standard was disappointing. One villa was beautiful, fresh, clean and had everything ‘extras’ wise that was listed, however one villa was awful, in desperate need of a refurb, very small, dark and was missing a lot of what was promised on the ‘extras’ list, this meant we spent the holiday running things like an iron between villas to share! Not suitable for a family of 5. The other 2 apartments were somewhere in between. Seeing as price wise they are all very similar, the standard from one to another was huge! The local town is like a ghost town, everything except a couple of shops and a restaurant were closed down, it’s quite sad to see it this way, but this should have been made clearer on booking. As a large group it made it difficult for us to go out in the evening. This place really isn’t suitable for families with children, even the cot didn’t fit in the rooms!

Staff was very helpful, the flat was very clean and spacious and was close to the beach.

It is a little dated.

Very good location. The staff helped us to provide an additional room when our air conditioning stopped working. This was very good of the staff because Europe was going through a heatwave and in 2 of the 3 bedrooms the air con had an issue. The staff provided keys to another good apartment in the same block.

The hotel was not easy to find, I would recommend having bigger signs outside reception, especially for nightime.
