"Superb"

Central location, wonderful room, excellent walk in shower, all very clean. Parking permit sorted by host prior to arrival. Very helpful host with plenty of local knowledge - gave us lots of extra ideas about places to explore. Made for great weekend break.

Esme's was a wonderful place to spend a few days in Winchester, a short walk from the centre of town, the historic sights and beautiful surrounds. The bonus is Esme who was warm and welcoming and really made the stay special. Highly recommended.

"Great base for exploring Winchester on foot"

Central, comfortable and clean. Pretty double room with ensuite at front of house, but separate entrance. Esme was a great host - very helpful about all aspects of Winchester. Loads of personal touches to make stay more comfortable. Parking permit included, but Winchester parking is quirky.

Esme’s is very comfortable with great decor and extra touches. It is close to the city centre with all the sights, good pubs and excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. Highly recommended.

Esme was welcoming and caring. Really a lovely host and willing to do anything to insure we were comfortable and taken care of. When we checked out, I accidentally left my wallet in the room. Esme went above and beyond to get the wallet to me, by driving from Winchester to Southampton Cruise Terminal and finding us before we boarded the Queen Mary. Now that is true commitment. We can’t thank Esme enough… Mark & Linda

We liked everything. Esme’s is located in the center of Winchester, but on a quiet street, and Esme herself is the best of hosts.

The property is close to the cathedral being a block from High Street yet it is still quiet. The owner loves Winchester so knows the best places to eat and drink. Its very private and turned out to be a great find for us.
