Esme's

Friendly and helpful host. Great facilities, lots of lovely personal touches. Tea, coffee, shortbread, chocolate, sparkling water and port. Fridge with milk in. Great en-suite with fabulous shower. Beautifully decorated room with lots of unique features. Esme's is very close to town, you can access all the tourist spots in Winchester very easily. Would thoroughly recommend.

Our stay at Esme's was exceptional. The location was just a skip and a hop away from the train station – tucked away on a quiet side street but within a short walk to all the sites, shops and cafes. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. Esme is so kind and responsive, and the room is filled with unexpected (but much appreciated) extras!

Easier parking would be beneficial. But could easily park couple of streets away and Esme gave us a parking voucher

Esme is a fantastic host. She made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location could not be better to explore beautiful Winchester. It is central to the town and places of interest with free parking available which is always a bonus. Esme provided great facilities with a coffee maker, selection of reas, hot chocolate, biacuits, chocolates, fridge, fresh milk etc. Not forgetting the port provided which was a welcome night cap. The bed was extremely comfortable with lovely quality bed linen. The large shower was powerful with plenty of hot water to warm ouraelves after a particularly cold spell in December. Thank you again for the warm welcome and we cannot wait to return next year. Wishing Esme a merry christmas and happy new year.

The host, Esme, was so welcoming and met us on arrival. She showed us around and was extremely helpful especially in recommendations for food in the area. The room was very nicely decorated and Esme’s touches were exceptional. Her home is located in the heart of Winchester, a very easy walking distance to everything especially the Christmas Market which was on when we visited. The market was a lovely experience. Both the Chesil Rectory and Cote Brasserie were lovely places to eat and the food was very good. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

Esme was the perfect host. So helpful in the weeks leading up to our stay and the warmest of welcomes when we arrived. Fantastic room with so many added extras that were not expected but very appreciated. location was perfect for Winchester itself. We parked our car right outside the property and didn’t move it the whole weekend. brilliant stay. brilliant property. Everything about Esme’s was perfect.

Perfect location for visiting Winchester and the Christmas market. Also easy walking distance from the station. Esme's was a warm and cosy "home away from home". The owner created a warm and friendly atmosphere where we had the freedom to come and go as we pleased.

We had to go home!

Esme welcomed me warmly upon my arrival, gave me good advice about restaurants and places to visit. Conveniently located, quiet, spacious and beautifully decorated, my room at Esme's was perfect for my stay in Winchester.
